Softscape Labelling

  1. Click on the Softscape Labelling icon from the drop-down tools under the Text tool.

  2. Search for plants in the DynaScape Online Plant Database (OPD) by entering text in the Search bar

  3. Optionally, select values in the Filters list.

  4. Click Search.

  5. Enter a quantity. (Optional)

  6. Select a Label Type: Text or Text with Leader.

  7. Click on the Botanical Name or Common Name to use at the label.

  8. The sidebar will close while you place the label. Click on the canvas to specify the location of the Text label or Leader head. For Leader, click on the canvas to specify the location of the leader tail. Right click and select Cancel or press Z to return to the list.

  9. Right click and select Close Tool, click the X in the sidebar, or press Esc, to cancel and close the tool.
