Move

When one or more entities or images are selected, they can be moved with the following options:

Quick Move - Use the move grip to move the selection.

1. Select the entity(s) to be moved.

2. Click on the move grip in the center of the selection.

Move - move using a specific snap point and/or move a specified distance.

1. Select the entity(s) to be moved.

2. Click on the Move (M) button in the mode bar, or right click and select Move (M)

3. Select the reference location. This enables snapping to another entity.

4. Optionally, press Tab to specify the precise distance to move the selection.

5. Click again to place the selected entity(s).
