You can start your plant list from scratch by entering new plants one by one, or by importing an existing list. See the section “Importing a Plant List” for more info.

To create a new plant, navigate to the main Plants list and click on the + New Plant button.

You will then be brought to the plant details page. Enter in a Botanical and Common name for your plant, select the appropriate category from the drop down list, and optionally enter a description for your plant.

Next, select the Size tab (right below Save & Close). Select the size of your plant from the Size drop down list on the left side of the page. You may also optionally enter a SKU, cost, and price for your plant. The price will automatically be the same as your base cost, so if you would like to enter a custom price for your plant, first select the “Fixed Price” tab in the middle of the page. This will enable the Unit Price field for editing. At this point you can save your plant - hitting Save & Close will return to the main plants list, and Save will save the plant to your list and leave the plant open for further editing. For the sake of this example, let’s hit the Save button and then take a look at the other actions that are possible with plants.
