Offset

Use the Offset tool to create parallel lines, curves, or polylines at a specified distance from an existing object.

To offset an entity:

1. Click on the Offset tool from the toolbar.

2. Enter a value for Count in the sidebar. Default is 1.

3. Select the entity to offset. Supported entities include Arc, Circle, Line, Polyline, Polygon, Rectangle.

4. Press Tab to set distance value for the selected entity. (Optional)

5. Move your mouse cursor in the direction that the offset entity should be created. A preview will appear.

6. Click to confirm the offset entity(s).

7. Press Esc or close the tool by clicking on the x in the sidebar, or open another tool.
